Have you ever wanted your own little anime desktop buddy running around your screen doing random stuff? Well now you can! They’re called, Shimejis. They’re a free program that allows little desktop buddies to run around your screen. I’ve heard some people are having some trouble getting them, so I decided to show you how to get them step-by-step. Please be aware that these Shimejis WILL NOT WORK FOR MAC! Ok let’s begin.

First, you want to make sure that you have the latest Java update or else your buddy won’t work. You can always google the latest Java update. The next item you might need would be Winrar(Winrar 64-bit here) in order to open most of the folders they’re in. Once you have that done, you want to go find some Shimejis.

The easiest place to find the best working Shimejis is from a place called Deviantart. Shimejis can be found anywhere on the web though. I’ll be using my Bakura Shimeji from Deviantart as an example.

Shimejis are a animated characters which play on your phone’s screen and you can upgrade them to be inside other apps. You can keep your current wallpaper and add the animated mascots on top. This app features two free Shimeji (Miku, Neko) and you can get many other FREE characters from the Shimeji Store page inside the application.

Okay now that you’ve found your buddy, download it. Shimejis should take a couple of seconds to download but it all depends on the file size. Once you’ve got it downloaded, open the folder using winrar. You should see one folder that has your character’s name on it.

Copy all the files into your new folder. Mine is called Shimeji.

Copy it to your desktop or wherever you want to put it. If you see multiple random folders, create a new folder on your desktop or wherever you want to put it and drag all the folders into your new folder. There will be rare times when this happens but if you see only one file named “img” you will have to download another Shimeji that has all the folder contents in it like in the picture. When you download you’re second Shimeji, you will have to scariface it for your original Shimeji. Open your second Shimeji’s folder until you see the same folder labeled “img”. Delete it and drag your original Shimeji’s “img” folder into the second Shimeji’s folder.

Shimejis are little characters or desktop buddies that play around on the sites you visit. They interact with the elements on the page. You control their behavior. Pick them up with your mouse.

Open your new folder with it’s new contents and open the folder in it if needed to see the multiple random folders.

Click the Executable Jar file!

Once there you should see some folders that include ones like “img”. Ignore all of them and look for one that is an exacutable jar file that is usually called “shimeji”. BE CAREFUL WHERE YOU CLICK! There is another file that’s called “shimeji” as well but that is an application file so it will not work. BE SURE TO CLICK ON THE EXECUTABLE JAR FILE OR ELSE NOTHING WILL WORK!

And you’re done! As soon as you open the executable jar file, your little buddy should appear on the screen seconds later ready to play! You can have about three different kinds of Shimejis on your desktop at once but be warned! Shimejis are known for multiplying as rapid as rabbits! Have fun!

How To Install Shimeji on Windows 10

This app is made for Android. So, if you wanna install Shimeji on PC Windows, first you will need Android Emulator like NOX App or Bluestacks. With this emulator app you will be able to running Shimeji into your Windows 7, 8, 10 Laptop. And even install android app on your MAC OSx PC

Go to this Bluestacks download page or NOX App Download Page to get the emulator that compatible with your Operating System.
Click the icon on Desktop to run the Bluestacks Emulator app on Windows.
Login with your Google Play Store account.
Then, open Google Play Store and search for ” Shimeji “
Choose one of the app from the search result list. Click the Install button.

This Shimeji is a great fit for Mac OS as well. Return to castle wolfenstein utorrent for pc. To download it in your Mac Book, first you’ll need to download the .dmg file of BlueStacks Emulator for MAC. After you have finished installing BlueStacks emulator, the process of installation for Mac OS is exactly the same as Windows. Follow the above steps and you will successfully download the Shimeji App. on your Mac Book PC.

How to completely uninstall (remove) Shimeji?

Because this app is installed on PC with Bluestacks, So just follow these instructions on bellow To uninstall (remove) app:

On the BlueStacks window, click on the Blue colored “Home” button as shown in the picture below
Once you click on the “Home” button, you will be able to see the option “Installed apps” on the Home screen
Hover the mouse near “Installed apps” and it will then show further options “Install apk” and “Delete apps” as shown in the picture below. Left click on “Delete apps” once
Once we click that option, the screen option will appeared
All the installed apps will have a small Red “X” marked on the top left. Left click once on the small Red “X” associated with the icon of the app you are intending to uninstall or delete
Click on Yes to Uninstall/Delete the app
Repeat the procedure in case you have more than one app to be uninstalled or deleted from BlueStacks.

Alternatively, you may also left-click and hold the app icon you want to uninstall or delete and then click once on (cross button) next to the app icon to uninstall it.
