  • Looks like my 4 GB USB thumb drive is the Chuck Norris of thumb drives. It's been running OMV for over one year now, almost 24/7! I was planning to wipe everything and do a fresh install from 0.4 to 0.5 when it burned out, but it just won't die.

For the software related part, I decided to install the Raspbian lite image from raspberrypi.org downloads. And then on top of that OpenMediaVault 5 since there are a lot of tutorials on YouTube and it has a nice GUI.
