I cannot scroll on linked pictures. For example, I included a 'link' in an excel spreadsheet for a picture (.png). When I click on it, it opens the picture, but it doesn't allow me to scroll to the next picture. I have many other pictures in the same folder.
Also, when I open the picture directly from the folder, it opens the picture and it does allow me to scroll through the pictures. My guess it has something to do with the 'linked' pictures. I had no issue scrolling through linked pictures with Windows Photo Viewer (Windows 7).
Thanks,

How To Scroll Through Pictures Windows 10 Bootable
On windows, when you open a photo within a folder, you have the options to scroll through that entire folder just by clicking the right or left arrow key. Is there any way to do this on a Mac? It's a pain having to click on every photo, close it and open the next one, just to see all the photos in one folder. You will see how to navigate through your pictures and videos using the mouse to click the back or forward arrows to scroll through your items in the Camera app. There are also instructions for accessing pictures and videos using File Explorer and the Photos app. In File Explorer, go to the Pictures library and select the Camera Roll folder.
Windows Photo Viewer Won't Scroll
I can't slowly scroll through my files or make it through an entire before the OS returns my page to the first line of photos. It's practically detrimental to my work-flow as I am a photographer. I can't look through my files to choose my next. The Windows 10 scroll bar, which resembles a cutaway of an elevator shaft, rests along the edge of all overstuffed windows. You can even find a scroll bar along the side of an extra-long Start menu. Inside the shaft, a little elevator (technically, the scroll box ) rides along as you move through.
